Job Title: Landscape Labourer

MELFER PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INC. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and physically fit individual to assist in the maintenance of our outdoor spaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, laying sod or seed, and operating and maintaining landscape maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • Cut grass
  • Lay sod or seed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • Apply fertilizers
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • Tree removal
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials
  • Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments
