Job Summary

MELFER PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INC. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our properties through various landscaping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass and maintain lawns to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas and promote healthy growth.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth and development.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as required.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments.
