Job Summary:

The Ventilation Design Engineer will apply technical design principles and practices to create innovative ventilation solutions for kitchens. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test ventilation systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ventilation systems for kitchens, including concept creation, prototyping, and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ventilation systems meet customer needs and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and engineering change notices.
  • Participate in product evaluation and validation activities to ensure ventilation systems meet performance and quality requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve ventilation system design and development.

Requirements:

  • DEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least one year's relevant experience in product development, preferably in mechanical design and integration of electromechanical components.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software, including CREO (Pro-Engineer), and experience with product data management systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with proficiency in the Office Suite.
