Job Summary:

The Ventilation Design Engineer will apply technical design principles to create innovative solutions for our kitchen ventilation products. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, 3D design software, and product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine product designs using 3D design software and CREO (Pro-Engineer)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets performance, cost, and quality requirements
  • Analyze and optimize product performance, reducing costs and improving efficiency
  • Participate in product evaluation and validation activities to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Develop and manage engineering change notices to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • DEC in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • At least one year's experience in product development, preferably in mechanical design and integration of electromechanical components
  • Proficiency in 3D design software, including CREO (Pro-Engineer)
  • Strong understanding of product data management systems and material/product BOM structures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
