Job Summary

Middelkoop Sheet Metal is seeking a skilled Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our installation and fabrication team, you will be responsible for installing and fabricating sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and fabricate sheet metal parts using power tools and hand tools
  • Install sheet metal products in various settings, including commercial and industrial facilities
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete installations
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in sheet metal installation and fabrication
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
