Job Summary

Middelkoop Sheet Metal is seeking a skilled Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our installation and fabrication team, you will be responsible for installing and fabricating sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and fabricate sheet metal parts using power tools and hand tools
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal products, including ductwork and vents
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, and swing stages to install sheet metal products
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks using gas detecting devices
  • Operate industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts to move materials and equipment
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal installation and fabrication
  • Valid driver's license
  • Sheet Metal Worker Trade Certification
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to lift, bend, and crouch regularly.
