About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team at Cimtel Telecommunications. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications infrastructure, including cable systems, circuits, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and ability to work independently
