About the Job

Cimtel Telecommunications is seeking a skilled Cable Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install trunking systems, circuits, and equipment
  • Complete and maintain test and service reports
  • Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures
  • Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets
  • Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Repair or replace defective telephone equipment
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
  • Willing to travel
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Manual dexterity
  • Flexibility, organized, reliability, and team player
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working at heights and in various locations. You will be required to climb poles, ladders, and other support structures, and work in a fast-paced environment.
