Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook with a passion for preparing high-quality food and a strong commitment to exceptional service. This role offers opportunities for professional development and advancement in the fast-paced kitchen environment of Cafe Landwer.

  • Prepare and cook menu items with care and attention, ensuring each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Efficiently manage multiple orders at once, maintaining speed and accuracy in a busy kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service, working professionally and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe kitchen environment.

- Assist with menu preparation and development, offering creative input on new dishes and presentation ideas.

- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering and receiving supplies as needed.

- Ensure all food items are stored properly and used according to guidelines to minimize waste and maintain freshness.

Compensation and Benefits

Cafe Landwer offers competitive compensation, ranging from $17.00-$29.00 per hour, with estimated annual earnings between $35,520 and $60,480. The expected hours range from 25-40 hours per week. Additional pay includes tips, and benefits include discounted or free food and store discount.

This position provides flexibility with day, evening, and morning shifts. A strong language requirement is not necessary, but proficiency in English is preferred. To succeed in this role, you must be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
