Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Moving On Up Home Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Management: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 11-15 people, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of logistics operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure transport compliance with regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience in logistics and transportation management is an asset.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Valid driver's license, and eligibility for professional liability insurance.
