About the Role

We are looking for an experienced floral craft artist who can demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and creativity in designing and creating unique floral arrangements. You will be responsible for:

  • Gathering and preparing materials for crafting techniques
  • Delivering craftmaking lessons to clients or students
  • Designing and creating glass objects, metal jewelry, ceramics, and other decorative items
  • Selecting and arranging natural and artificial flowers and decorative accessories for bouquets and arrangements

You will also assist in managing day-to-day business operations, supervising apprentices or other artisans, and selling products on a retail basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A combination of formal education and equivalent experience in the field of floral art or a related discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a private studio or artists co-operative setting
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
