This dynamic role positions you as a trusted advisor for cutting-edge TechCo services in IoT, data & analytics, AI, and automation – pivotal areas shaping the future of how businesses operate and key areas of focus for SaskTel's future growth.

As a key member of our Business Solutions division, you will be accountable for promoting a productive and positive environment that encourages innovation, teamwork, initiative, and models corporate values.

You will also ensure all safety, health, environmental, and code of conduct policies, programs, and standards are understood and complied with at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general product support and technical qualification of sales opportunities to Sales Account Teams.
  • Develop and define sales strategies and sales propositions, and promote SaskTel's business solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales to develop sales funnels from technical qualification to close of sales opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging technologies and provide leadership within SaskTel and customer organizations regarding their impacts and management.
  • Approve sales proposal pricing and profitability, quality assurance of all sales documentation, and review sales contracts for accuracy.
  • Acquire and apply knowledge of trends and competitive environments in the ICT industry.
  • Lead the sales relationship with vendors and partners, and provide consulting, coaching, and mentoring to Sales Account Teams, Customer Systems Analysts, and others.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent education and/or experience with a minimum of 5 years of significant and relevant sales/consulting experience in ICT.
  • Thorough knowledge of ICT products/services, competitive communication industry trends, ICT issues, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and lead others towards a shared technical vision.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers and various software applications.
