Quality Control Specialist for Cabinetry Excellence

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada. This role involves ensuring that our high-end kitchen cabinets meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Perform quality control inspections to identify any issues in production and order processing departments.
- Ensure products meet project specifications by working with responsible departments to make modifications as needed.
- Develop a strong understanding of the complete production process, including receiving, material handling, panel processing, sanding, drilling, finishing, assembly, and shipping.
- Identify and report quality control issues that arise in pre- and post-production processes.
- Approve all incoming and finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests.
- Return products for re-work if necessary and complete documentation to confirm re-work tracking completion.
- Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- 2-5 years' experience in Quality Control, preferably in the mill-work industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Leadership and teamwork skills are essential.
- A good knowledge of various kitchen cabinetry manufacturing materials is required.
- A keen eye for color matching and quality control is necessary.
- The ability to work with different types of paints, stains, finishes, etc. is preferred.

Salary Range$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
