About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our human resource activities across the employment lifecycle. This includes attraction, recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding. The successful candidate will have a high level of expertise and be able to manage multiple priorities.
Main Responsibilities
- Human Resource Management: Develop and implement HR strategies to support business objectives, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.
- Policy Development: Recommend and communicate organizational policy changes to ensure compliance with employment standards and regulations.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver employee training programs focused on leadership and supervision to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Employee Engagement: Lead and support employee engagement activities to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Analytics and Reporting: Analyze data to inform personnel decisions and provide insights to support business objectives.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Advise on legal and regulatory compliance matters and maintain knowledge of current developments in HR area of expertise.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Human Resources or Business, with a minimum of five years in Human Resources.
- Experience: Experience as a Human Resources Manager/Business Partner in a multiple Manufacturing or Distribution Center business unit environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, working knowledge of employment standards, and strong computer skills including MS Office and HRIS.
