About the Position

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of our Investment Finance Team, responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reporting for the Equiton Group of companies. This role will also conduct asset valuations across the Equiton portfolio, working closely with various teams to deliver strategic analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, monitor, and manage internal portfolio level financial and operational performance and key performance indicators reporting
  • Evaluate property level performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Develop tools and perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and property level benchmark tracking
  • Analyze financial market and other benchmark data for decision-making support
  • Provide support to Asset Management, Property Management & Operations, as well as providing financial analysis and insights for the company as a whole
  • Provide the Equiton Sales departments with performance trends and information utilized in sales efforts
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and rules, as well as government requirements
  • Ad hoc requests from CFO, Finance, and Institutional Investments Team

Requirements

  • Proven strategic analysis and ability to run complex models
  • Flexibility and the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field of study
  • 3-5 years' experience in the accounting and finance sector
  • Understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and auditing standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Experienced in the due diligence and M&A
