About the Role:

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost savings initiatives;
  • Manage and analyze inventory levels, tracking variances and reconciling discrepancies;
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and other financial documents;
  • Perform Month End closing procedures, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for;
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
  • Provide support for external audits and regulatory requirements;
  • Other ad hoc projects and analysis as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, analysis, and costing;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (advanced level in MS Excel) and other Windows Applications;
  • Working knowledge of financial/operational database ERP systems;
  • Achieves success when working independently and is a proven team player;
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands through excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities;
  • Enthusiastic, process-oriented, self-starter who ensures accuracy with utmost regard to confidentiality;
  • $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
