Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members, to ensure that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, authorize returns of merchandise, and establish work schedules to ensure that the sales floor is running efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, managing stockroom operations, and ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their shopping experience.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to management, providing insights and recommendations for improving store performance.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a liquor store or similar environment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required.
