Retail Store Supervisor Job Description
Merritt Liquor Store is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: You will be responsible for assigning sales workers to duties, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: You will be responsible for authorizing the return of merchandise, ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Establish Work Schedules: You will be responsible for establishing work schedules, ensuring that our sales staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising and Personnel Matters: You will be responsible for preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, ensuring that our management team is informed of any issues or concerns.
- Resolve Issues that May Arise: You will be responsible for resolving any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our inventory, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
- Language: English
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-Paced Environment: You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where you will be required to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
