Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Hamilton Kent. This exciting opportunity is based in Toronto, Canada, and involves a variety of responsibilities, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and stage-gate/product launches.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing forecasting and demand planning for assigned customers and market segments, creating detailed supply plans, and leading monthly S&OP/Business Review meetings. They will also be responsible for maintaining production schedules, developing replenishment strategies, and managing inventory metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage forecasting and demand planning for assigned customers and market segments at an item-warehouse level.
  • Create detailed supply plans in the short to mid-term horizon for assigned product categories to achieve customer service and inventory health objectives.
  • Maintain a production schedule for HK plants considering raw material availability, plant constraints, and sales priorities.
  • Develop and implement replenishment strategies based on demand forecasts, sales projections, and lead times.
  • Provide regular reporting on inventory quality ratio (IQR) and related inventory metrics.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree or community college diploma in business, operations, logistics management, purchasing, or equivalent.
  • ~5-7 years of experience in demand and/or supply planning and scheduling for the manufacturing industry.
  • SAP experience is a must.
  • APICS certification is an asset.
Estimated Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
