**What is the Family Birth Unit?**

The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal will offer high-quality obstetric services through the new Family Birth Unit at the Hôpital Notre-Dame.

The unit will provide level 1B care, including the management of low-risk pregnancies from 34 weeks and beyond, in a safe environment with the assistance of qualified personnel and state-of-the-art equipment.

**Operating Room Opportunities**

• 7.5-hour workday with a weekend shift every two weeks. **Possibility of adjusting the 7.5-hour workday to 12 hours.

• Part-time night shift 7/14 (23:15 to 7:30)

**In the context of your duties**

Under the authority of the inhalation therapy manager, the person will be responsible for a range of cardiorespiratory care and inhalation therapy techniques.

Operating room sector:

• Complete 4-week training program

• Anesthesia assistance during surgeries

• Assistance during emergency cesareans

**Requirements**

• Hold a College Diploma (DEC) or College Diploma (AEC) in inhalation therapy from a recognized school.

• Be a member of the Order of Inhalation Therapists of Quebec (OPIQ).

• Recognition of Bachelor's degrees in health related to inhalation therapy skills.
