About the Job

The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is seeking a skilled Inhalation Therapist to join our team. As an Inhalation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and home care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' respiratory needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Administer inhalation therapy treatments, including medication and oxygen therapy.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Valid permit to practice as an Inhalation Therapist in Quebec.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in respiratory care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of English (test will be administered after interview).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pneumology and home care.
