**What is the Family Birth Unit?**

The CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal will offer high-quality obstetric services through the new Family Birth Unit at the Hôpital Notre-Dame.

The unit will provide level 1B care, which includes the management of low-risk pregnancies from 34 weeks and beyond, in a safe environment with the assistance of qualified personnel and new equipment at the forefront of technology.

**Operating Room Opportunities**

  • Quarter of work of 7.5 hours with a weekend of work every two weeks. **Possibilities of adjusting the quarter of 12 hours.
  • Quarter of night part-time 7/14 (23h15 to 7h30)

**In Your Role**

Under the authority of the inhalation therapy manager, the person will be responsible for a set of cardiorespiratory care and inhalation therapy techniques.

Operating room sector:

  • Complete 4-week training program
  • Assistance to anesthesiologists during surgeries
  • Assistance during emergency cesareans

**Requirements**

Hold a College Diploma (DEC) or a College Diploma (AEC) in inhalation therapy from a recognized school.

Be a member of the Order of Inhalation Therapists of Quebec (OPIQ).

Recognition of Bachelor's degrees in health related to inhalation therapy skills.
