We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at SC Johnson Professional. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating various pieces of equipment, completing batch processing, and supporting multiple production lines across several technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including filling, labeling, packaging, and palletizing equipment.
- Prepare and maintain accurate systems records and adhere to standard processes.
- Participate in problem-solving and loss teams to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Perform AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (planned maintenance) work on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality products and meet production goals.
- Working knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environment principles and practices.
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, afternoons, and continental shifts.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite Products (Outlook, Calendar, Email, Word, Excel).
- Technical diploma or degree.
- 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing.
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.
- GMP experience an asset.
