Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager is a key role at Spencer Gifts – Spirit Halloween, responsible for establishing and maintaining Guest Services. This position supports the Store Manager in various tasks, ensuring maximum sales and profitability by developing staff, controlling expenses and shrinkage, and overseeing merchandising and inventory control in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead and motivate store staff to achieve sales and service goals
  • Manage store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and implement company initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18
  • Prior retail and management experience required
  • Ability to work in excess of 8 hours standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds
