About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our dynamic team at JYSK Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in instilling our company values and customer promises within your team and in the store.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the implementation of sales and merchandising plans, promoting a highly engaged team culture, and delivering and meeting sales budgets and goals in your department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with loss prevention processes, including participation in prevention strategies and investigations
  • Assist with store stock management, merchandising, and pricing to maximize sales of your categories
  • Deliver and meet sales budgets and goals in your department

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in retail management and customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A dynamic and positive personality with strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities change
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
