About the Role

CDA Landscape Services is seeking a skilled Landscaping Professional to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products to ensure the optimal growth and health of plants and lawns.
  • Direct and manage crews who work on various landscaping projects, including golf courses and residential properties.
  • Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and diseases, and develop effective solutions to prevent their spread.
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental, and other purposes, taking into account factors such as climate, soil type, and client preferences.
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, ensuring they are well-manicured and visually appealing.
  • Plant and move trees to enhance the aesthetic value of outdoor spaces.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide expert advice on landscaping and garden maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as horticulture or landscape design.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of landscaping principles and practices.
  • Work setting: Various locations, including residential and commercial properties.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions.
