Lead Cashier Opportunity at JYSK Canada

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cashier to join our dynamic team at JYSK Canada. As a Lead Cashier, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, managing cash handling processes, and supervising a team of cashiers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Manage cash handling processes, including operating cash registers and ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train a team of cashiers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Assist store management with communicating cash and till updates and changes to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cash handling and customer service.

Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • 1+ year of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
