About the Role:

Maple Lodge Farms, a leading poultry processor, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability (HSE&S) Department as a Co-op Environment Program Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Integrated Management Systems for HSE&S.
  • Review and update Environment & Sustainability documents, including policies, standards, procedures, and training materials.
  • Assist in the development of procedures and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct environmental data collection and analysis to inform sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform other analytical and management tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in an environmental science, engineering, or safety program at the undergraduate level.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and custom software applications.
  • Dedication to environmental protection, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members.

Working Conditions:

  • Office and plant-based position with occasional travel to other locations.
  • Work hours: Maximum 40 hours/week, day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • Exposure to industrial settings, moving objects, machinery, and motorized vehicles.
