We are a leading structural steel fabrication company seeking a skilled Drafter-Designer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Drafter-Designer to work on a variety of projects, including structural steel fabrication, detailing, and design. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant software, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings for structural steel fabrication projects
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and specifications
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet client requirements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in structural steel drafting and design
  • Strong background in AutoCAD, Tekla, and other relevant software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • AutoCAD Certification
  • Steel detailing Certification
  • Drafting Trade Certification
  • Experience with Autodesk REVIT and SolidWorks software
