Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care, including assessments of patients' physical, emotional, cognitive, and behavior skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients who have varying diagnoses and symptoms associated with mental health. They must be able to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, including assessments and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Liaise with community agencies to coordinate post-discharge services.
  • Participate in psychoeducational groups and lead or co-lead therapeutic sessions.
Requirements:
  • Registration with an approved Regulated Health Profession College (Social Work, Occupational Therapy).
  • Excellent mental health assessment skills and ability to conduct formal biopsychosocial assessments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and community-based resources.
  • Keyboarding and Meditech knowledge would be an asset.
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment:

This full-time position is available Monday through Friday. While posted hours may not guarantee the absence of shift changes, we strive to maintain a stable schedule.
