Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Voyago. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of accounting services, budget management, and financial reporting functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity. You will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to provide guidance and direction to the accounting operational units.

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring invoicing, reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing timely payments of corporate tax, HST, and other remittances. You will also review and approve accounts payable expense batches, weekly payments, and bank reconciliations.

You will work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively interact with internal stakeholders, including Operation Managers and Executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor invoicing and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Review and approve accounts payable expense batches, weekly payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely payments of corporate tax, HST, and other remittances.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting operational units.
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Clean Criminal Record Search.
