Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Applications Specialist focused on Software Test Automation within the realm of Solid Round and Insert Cutting Tools. This role is crucial for driving account management and uncovering new business opportunities for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively seeking new prospects to enhance revenue streams.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct effective planning to deliver engaging sales presentations through regular customer interactions.
  • Prospecting: Identify and develop new accounts to boost sales performance in collaboration with the distribution network.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest products, services, and tools by participating in training sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Sales Effectiveness: Utilize marketing data and relevant sales management tools to optimize sales strategies.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for sales and marketing activities while managing expense accounts efficiently.
  • Customer Account Maintenance: Update and manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate contact information for future sales initiatives.
  • Quote Preparation: Provide product quotes to customers as necessary, supported by inside sales resources.
  • Product Processing: Experience in managing customer parts from initial drawings to the final product.
Qualifications

A degree in sales and marketing or a related field is highly regarded. Candidates should possess:

  • Strong prospecting skills for new accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • The ability to work for extended periods at a desk and on a computer.
