Aerospace Engineer

Bombardier is seeking an experienced Engineering Professional to join our team as a Cabin Definition Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for defining technical requirements, preparing engineering documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality aircraft interiors.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the focal point for cabin engineering, working closely with Bombardier teams and suppliers to ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Participate in strategic planning and technical decision-making to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with Bombardier's processes and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for product and process improvement, and propose solutions to reduce cycle time, improve production efficiency, and enhance overall quality.
- Review and validate specifications to ensure accuracy and consistency across documentation.
- Monitor project technical issues, including critical designs, risks, and regulatory compliance.
- Support Program Change Requests (PCRs) and coordinate technical integration meetings to meet program needs.
- Participate in aircraft go-and-see activities to assess build or installation issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and upper management to ensure smooth project execution.
- Validate certification documents to ensure design compliance with regulations.
- Act as a technical leader, transferring knowledge through coaching and mentoring within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- More than 10 years of relevant technical experience in aircraft interiors completions, with a focus on cabin engineering.
- Strong experience with Catia/Enovia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to understand complex engineering issues and propose innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Excellent track record of meeting commitments and delivering results.
