About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at The Grand Canal Retirement Residence. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations
  • Transport residents safely and efficiently
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: Experience an asset
  • or equivalent experience
