About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Care Assistant to join our team at The Grand Canal Retirement Residence. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as making beds, maintaining patient rooms, and transporting patients.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Collect specimens and administer first aid in emergency situations.
  • Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: An asset, but not required.
