Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Leadership Team to achieve all company goals and initiatives. You will model and maintain excellent customer service with effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging customers, responding to their needs, and offering solutions to their queries.
  • Effectively communicate the value and quality of our merchandise, including current promotions and offers.
  • Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Demonstrate strong selling skills to positively impact conversion and drive sales growth.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cashwrap, while educating customers on the benefits of the PLACE Card.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized stockroom, adhering to company standards and safety requirements.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and associates.
  • Guarantee company assets by adhering to all Loss Prevention procedures.
  • Inform Store Leadership Team of maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Skills and Behaviors

  • Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including weekends, overnights, evenings, and call-in shifts.
  • Ability to maneuver on the sales floor and stockroom, climb ladder, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
