Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Specialist to join our team at OAK & STONE CONSTRUCTIONS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, and perform adjustments, replacements, or repairs as needed.
  • Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Test installed telephone systems to identify transmission faults and analyze test results to make necessary adjustments.
  • Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
