Job Title: Telecommunications Equipment Specialist

AIM Telecom Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment to ensure seamless communication services for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Equipment Repair and Replacement: Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace, or repair telecommunications equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Network Testing and Analysis: Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment, and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by completing and maintaining test and service reports, and initiating the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with a 30-35 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be willing to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
