Experienced LPN Wanted for Queens Park Care Centre

At Franzer Health Authority, we are currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Queens Park Care Centre in New Westminster, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
About the Role
The LPN will work under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Operations or designate and as part of a multidisciplinary team to perform assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and deal with others effectively. They must also possess the physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient/resident/family's actual and potential strengths and limitations, including physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs;
- Providing a supportive environment for patient/resident/family and promoting their involvement in healthcare decisions;
- Contributing to the development and ongoing changes to the individualized plan of care;
- Providing nursing care according to identified policies and procedures and evaluating outcomes;
- Documenting and updating all relevant care and procedure information to ensure patient/resident safety and comfort;
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
- Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM);
