Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at 90271 Newfoundland & Labrador Ltd. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Establish work schedules
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Administer revenues and expenditures

Requirements:

  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • Availability for the advertised start date
  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • Willingness to relocate for this position
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location
  • Previous experience in this field of employment
  • Highest level of study completed
