Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Mental Health & Addictions Worker 2 to join their team in Powell River, BC.
Job SummaryThis role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team with individuals experiencing severe and persistent psychiatric illness. The successful candidate will participate in case planning, conduct interviews to identify client needs, and develop treatment plans emphasizing self-management strategies.
About the Role- Works collaboratively with clients to establish and maintain rapport, while observing changes in behavior and symptoms.
- Provides supportive counseling, demonstrations, and behavioral management to assist clients in developing life skills.
- Acts as an advocate to help clients resolve conflicts with external organizations.
- Takes and records vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and respiration, for clients.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is CAD $32.42 per hour, based on industry standards and regional factors.
