About the RoleThe Intermediate Hydrogeologist reports to the Senior Hydrogeologist and is responsible for hydrogeology data collection, management, and reporting.
- Provide technical input to projects throughout Ensero.
- Communicate groundwater data through analysis and report writing.
- Design and implement groundwater programs for contaminant transport assessments and remedial planning.
- Integrate groundwater inputs into geochemical models.
- Perform fieldwork on hydrogeological programs including groundwater sampling and monitoring well installation.
- Operate and maintain specialized field testing equipment.
- Develop local-scale and regional-scale groundwater numerical models.
- Report factual and interpretive data of field conditions.
- You have a post-graduate degree in Geoscience or Engineering focusing on Hydrogeology or a related field.
- You have 5+ years of experience in consulting or mining, with experience in hydrogeologic data collection and analysis.
- You are familiar with British Columbia and Yukon legislation relating to mine permitting and contaminated sites.
- You are willing to travel and participate in remote locations throughout BC and Yukon.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
