The Licensed Optician delivers exceptional customer service and helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.

About the Job

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year (based on location, experience, and qualifications)

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers, set expectations, and deliver legendary customer service
  • Custom fit glasses, precisely place prescriptions, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen, take measurements, adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, and assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions
  • Use technology effectively, have excellent product knowledge, and prioritize tasks with competing priorities
  • Proactively explore root causes of issues, strive to achieve exceptional results, and maintain store appearance
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • State licensure and optical dispensing experience
  • Strong customer service skills, communication, listening, and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise, basic math skills, awareness of fashion trends, and selling skills
  • Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators, and embracing new technology and change
