Job Description

CertaPro Painters of Hamilton, ON is seeking a skilled Painting Production Specialist to manage the production of residential and commercial projects in the Hamilton region. This role is responsible for ensuring clients' expectations are met while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience in project management within the paint, construction, and/or home improvement industry. They will be responsible for overseeing production capacity, quality assurance, and safety on job sites. The successful applicant must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lift 50 lbs (22.5 kg).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Sales Associates to understand job requirements and ensure client expectations are met.
  • Manage production schedules, assign paint crews to projects, and determine materials needed.
  • Perform quality assurance site visits, ensuring job sites are clean and painters wear proper branded attire.
  • Ensure paint crews meet or exceed established Gross Margin targets.
  • Handle customer communications during production, including resolving complaints in a timely manner.
  • Perform walkthroughs with customers once jobs are completed.
  • Develop and implement training programs for Job Site Supervisors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' practical experience in project management within the paint, construction, and/or home improvement industry.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs (22.5 kg).
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and valid insurance required.
Benefits and Compensation

The base salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health benefits package, three weeks' vacation, company vehicle, laptop computer, and cell phone.
