About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Programme Director to join our team at Mace. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategic management plans across programmes and accounts, as well as managing resources and driving the achievement of company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directs the delivery of key assignments and oversees the implementation of major programme strategies.
  • Promotes Mace's value of Safety First and supports the safety and wellbeing of all Mace staff.
  • Determines and assembles project team resources, including required external specialist appointments.
  • Improves performance from the bid baseline by optimizing multi-disciplinary resources.
  • Helps convert client's vision into a deliverable plan that includes and exploits the full benefits of construction to production, net zero carbon, and digital and data innovations.
  • Relationship owner and primary contact for Mace executive team engagement.
  • Key client relationship management, interfaces, and supporting communication.

Requirements

  • Proven experience and track-record for procuring and delivering large or complicated programmes and teams.
  • Advanced technical understanding of delivery partner and programme management practices, PMO discipline integration, construction methodologies, sequencing and logic.
  • Extensive aviation sector and/or GCC market specific major infrastructure programme experience, knowledge and contacts.
  • Extensive experience in successful delivery of major projects and programmes, through all project phases.
  • Leadership and management experience and capability to lead a large team.
  • Tertiary qualifications in related (project management and/or construction related discipline), non-related degree or equivalent professional experience / apprenticeship, combined with a demonstrable level of role knowledge (or equivalent).
