Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Programmes to lead our programme management function and drive the successful delivery of our programmes/projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programme management strategies to ensure the successful delivery of programmes/projects.
  • Lead a team responsible for programme management, including programme tracking, quality control, and evaluation.
  • Act as a key interface to customers and stakeholders, providing regular programme status updates and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement a system to measure continuous quality improvement projects and monitor completed projects to ensure expected benefits are fully realized and sustained.
  • Report regularly and proactively to senior management on progress and issues that affect successful programme execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, with postgraduate degree considered an asset.
  • 5-10 years of experience in programme management within large complex programme environments, with space, aerospace, or defense experience an asset.
  • Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage a demanding and diverse workload.
  • Proven business skills with demonstrated strategic and programme management experience, including experience with project tracking and productivity tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to be approved for Canadian security clearance.
