About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Flor Dickinson. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing and grooming
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and social support
  • Shop for food and household supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, community centers, and other locations. You will be required to travel to clients' homes and may be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
