About the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our environmental laboratory in Saint-Laurent, QC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general support in the analysis of samples and perform complex sample preparation.
  • Perform analyses on samples and complex samples preparation.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data.
  • Understand and troubleshoot analyses.
  • Provide input to corrective action procedures.
  • Ensure deadlines are met and that the equipment is appropriately maintained.
  • Use summary reports to plan and organize work.
Requirements
  • Diploma and/or equivalence in a scientific field.
  • Experience in laboratory (strong asset).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good time-management, communication, multi-tasking and priority setting skills.
  • Dynamic, energetic, motivated and positive outlook.
Working Conditions
  • Work schedule: day/evening and every second Saturday or Sunday.
  • Needs to be available for overtime (1-2h/day) from May to December (high season).
  • Status: Full time, 37.5h/week.
