Job DescriptionThe Temporary Works Coordinator will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the Surrey Langley SkyTrain project, working closely with the South Fraser Station Partners (SFSP) Construction Team. Key responsibilities include temporary works coordination, preparing drawings for construction teams, managing Temporary Works Designers, and reviewing shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities:- Temporary works coordination in close collaboration with the South Fraser Station Partners (SFSP) Construction Team.
- Prepare drawings/layouts for construction team and temporary works (using AutoCAD).
- Manage Temporary Works Designers (contract, schedule, and cost control).
- Work with SFSP Design Team to prepare quantity take-offs, manage and track changes in quantities.
- Manage concrete technical requirements.
- Review shop drawings and coordinate submission to Designers/Client.
- Coordinate and review Work Method Statements in conjunction with Design & Construction Team.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Civil Infrastructure projects.
- Undergraduate and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Mastery of AutoCAD and the usual standards of drawing.
- Experience writing work reports.
- Good working knowledge of temporary works design.
- Good working knowledge of shop drawing review process.
- Expertise in MS Office and standard engineering software.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D is an asset.
Aecon offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer benefits such as medical and dental coverage, RRSP matching, and paid time off.
