About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our team at JAZ Community Support Limited. As a Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health disabilities, providing them with the necessary care and assistance to lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Assess clients' eligibility for specific services and provide recommendations
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Implement life skills workshops and provide training to clients
  • Provide suicide and crisis intervention, as well as conflict resolution
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Assist clients with special needs and accompany them to appointments and social outings
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal awareness and judgement
  • Flexibility and initiative
  • Team player with a client-focused approach
